I stumbled on this lovely version of “Alcoholiday” and realized it’s the perfect New Year’s song. A gift for fellow Alex Chilton lovers – and simultaneously appropriate for introspective mopers in general. That should cover my audience. Oh wait, that’s just me.
Today, I like Alex’s version better than the original Teenage Fanclub version but both are here if you want to download.
By the way, I loved huge chunks of 2010. I don’t want to leave everything behind.
